The curriculum is constantly updated and brought up to date to reflect the ever-changing design field. You will be introduced to the latest trends, technologies, and techniques - an important prerequisite for getting noticed after you graduate. The school also encourages collaboration and problem-solving so you can develop skills that go beyond design.
Program Highlights
UDAAN
Aditya College of Design Studies (ACDS) along with Aditya College of Architecture (ACA) organize UDAAN, college fest where students work is put up, along with 3- 4 days of festivities that include a variety of cultural & art events, talent hunts, music & drama and indoor sports tournament.
Borivali Design Fair
Aditya College of Design Studies (ACDS) had a very creative design space where the student’s academic work was displayed. Along with the portfolios, students made quite a few innovative furniture pieces that included sofa made up of quilled newspapers, convertible sofa, puffy made with plastic bottles, Zen style seating using tyres, centre table with wires. They also showcased their interior design models of studio apartment and café and an abstract installation called “know yourself”. All in all, it was a very interactive design space put together by the students and the staff.
Society Interiors
It was an honour for students of ACDS, Mr Sairaj Yadav & Mr Chandan Prajapati, for bagging the 1stPRIZE in the ‘Product Design’ category of Society Interiors Design Competition 2016 at National level. Following suit, ACDS students Ms Kavya Salian & Mr Parth Shah bagged the 2nd PRIZE in the ‘Product Design’ category of Society Interiors Design Competition 2017 at National level.
